What we collect

When you submit our form: your name, phone number, ZIP code, the service you need, how urgent it is, anything you type in the details box, and the page you were on. Our system also records the time, your browser type, and a one-way scrambled version of your IP address that we use only to block spam. If you call us, the call may go through a call-tracking service that records the calling number, time, length and, where the law allows and you are told, a recording.

How we use it

We use your information to connect you with one or more independent local service providers or referral networks for the job you asked about, and to contact you about that request. We share it with those providers and networks so they can contact you. They handle your information under their own privacy policies.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your information for unrelated marketing, and we don’t share it with anyone except as described here or as the law requires.

Calls and texts

If you check the consent box, we and the providers we refer you to may call or text you about your request, including by automated means. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell the caller you don’t want more calls.

How long we keep it

We keep request records for up to 24 months so we can handle follow-ups and disputes, then delete them.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, use the form on this site and choose “Something else / privacy request”. Include the phone number you used.

Children

This site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date.
